Expert Advice On Your Specific Situation!
Every recovery journey is different, which is why it's so important to build plan tailored to the particulars of your situation.
Hi, I'm Amber Hollingsworth -
And I've spent the last 15 years committed to helping families recover their loved ones from addiction. After working for almost 10 years in an inpatient facility, I became disillusioned with the factory like process used to deal with mental health and addictions issues. Particularly disturbing to me was the complete lack of support, information, and communication given to the families of patients in the hospital.
In 2011, I left to start Hope For Families Recovery Center. Using a family approach for treating addiction, my team and I have been able to help thousands of people get their families back on track. Since that time, we have outgrown 2 office buildings and reached capacity for how many families we could help.
Along the way, we've saved hundreds of lives, marriages, and careers.
About a year ago, I started to really concentrate on developing a YouTube channel called Put The Shovel Down, with the purpose of providing people with free access to the right tools, information, and supports to conquer addiction. We are so proud of the work we've done, creating a library of resources for anyone and everyone to access who needs the help.
The calls were coming from all over the country. It is our mission to help save as many families from addiction as we possibly can, which is why we've decided to offer over the phone coaching sessions to families desperate to help their loved ones.

"I got more useful information in one hour at Hope For Families than I did in six months of weekly counseling with a local therapist. They are so knowledgeable and compassionate. But most importantly, they helped us develop a game plan to move forward."
"Hope For Families was incredible from the moment we started. She absolutely understood the cycle I’m in, ask questions, and gave me straight talk guidance for immediate concerns. I’m so thankful for the time she spent with me on our first call and now feel like there are at least some short-term steps we can take to hopefully prevent a rock bottom situation. Thank you so much; I finally feel that I’ve found help."
"Hope For Families " is clear, specific, and logical, with concern and understanding for the loved ones and the addicts themselves. The rules of communication are simple once they are learned. This method is a truly effective tool to help your addicted loved one, as I've experienced. I hope to continue to see progress!"
